Melissa Margolis, L.Ac.

Melissa (she/her) was raised in a medical family and developed an interest in the healing arts at an early age. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Harvard University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. She completed several years of training at UCSF Medical School, but eventually gravitated towards holistic medicine and acupuncture. She completed the Master’s program at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2004. She is licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of California.

Melissa identifies as Covid-cautious, having lived with MCAS since her 20’s. She rigorously follows scientific developments on long Covid and ME-CFS, tuning in to a number of podcasts and substacks since 2020. She has advocated for masks in healthcare with the group Senior Disability Action. She is delighted to be able to offer a safe space for those who also take precautions, and is using protocols of opening windows, air filtration and masking to enhance the safety of her office. (Note: there are several other offices in the building which have different standards) We see you and can’t wait to serve you!
