About Melissa

Melissa Margolis, L.Ac.

Melissa was raised in a medical family and developed an interest in the healing arts at an early age. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Harvard University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. She completed several years of training at UCSF Medical School, but eventually gravitated towards holistic medicine and acupuncture. She completed the Master’s program at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2004. She is a Diplomate with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of California.
