Melissa has been a licensed acupuncturist in the Bay Area since 2005.

She offers gentle acupuncture for sensitive bodies, along with herbal medicine and cupping.

Our Mission

We are committed to providing an inclusive, accessible, safe space for all.  We are a COVID safe(r) business: Melissa works in an N95, and masks (KF94, KN95, N95 or better) are required for all patients seeking care here. The office has three windows which open, as well as two HEPA air filters, one of which is medical grade (Austin air).

We are ADA accessible, fragrance‑free, and trauma‑informed.  We welcome all gender identities, races, and backgrounds. We love working with neurodivergent folks, and we work with you to create a sensory-friendly environment.

Heavenly Stems Acupuncture acknowledges that we gather on the unceded ancestral land of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe, the descendants of the historic Verona Band of Alameda County.

We honor them as the original inhabitants and traditional stewards of this land for thousands of years. We recognize their continued relationship to the land and their work to protect it.
